I haven't been very productive lately, but here are a few of the ATC's I've made the past weeks. I have to admit I am very excited to hear what my swap-partner think of the Rose ATC I made. I have never been able to draw to save my life, but for this one I really wanted to give it a try. I am quite happy with the rose, but I am not sure if it comes through that the eyelets are to be bulletholes....

Roses For Norway
July 22nd 2011 changed Norway forever.
Terror hit us, from within. Our reaction was to answer hate with love, and figth bullest with roses.
This inspired me to make a rose-themed ATC swap. This soon became a collection. So many of my fellow swappers at swap-bot.com wanted so send some extra cards to me, so I could send them to people who were affected by this.
It is so heartwarming and touching to see all the cards who finds their way to my mailbox. Here is a picture of all the cards I have gotten so far.
I can't believe that people on the other side of the world, from Australia, South Africa, USA, Canada and all over Europe has taken their time to make and send so many beautifull cards! From the bottom of my heart: THANK YOU!!!!
I will update with new pictures as they come.

Memories ATC's
Time for yet another swap. This time the theme was "Memories", and here are the two I made.
The first one has a picture on it from a rollercoaster at the Danish amusement park Dyrehavsbakken, or Bakken, a little north of Copenhagen. Each summer as a child we came back here. I have been there a few times as an adult as well, and I still love the park SO much, mostly because it hardly changes, it's like going back in time. I added the strawberries because strawberries were something we always eat a lot of when I was younger.
The second one is a picture of the street I grew up in, Badehusgata in Drøbak, Norway. The orange house on the left is my Grandparents house, and the white one on the right was Mrs. Johansen's house, she used to babysit me quite often, and as soon as summer arrived she took me swimming. (Hard to believe, but the ocean is RIGHT behind my grandparents house) The roses I added because my grandmother always had big, pink roses under the kitchenwindow. :o)
I really hope my swap-parnters likes the ATC's I made :o)

Distress Ink ATC
This ATC I made for a swap where we had to use Tim Holtz Distress Ink.
I made it very simple by draging an inkpad over the cardboard, then spraying it with water. I did the same for the background with the stamped faces, and the old bookpage on the left side of the card.
I stamped on the birdcage, decorated it with a little "bling" and mounted the stamped faces on 3D foampads before I gave them a coat of clear crackle paint.
A very simple ATC, but I am very happy with the result. :o)

Coloring Class
A new world opend it self to me today.
After being an eager cardmaker for twelve years, I have FINALLY learned to color stamped images. About time, wouldn't you say? And I agree!
For the coloring we used Tim Holtz Distress Ink, both pads and refillers. And wow, what a result!!!
The images here are my very first attempts at using this tecnique, and I am very happy with the result, considering it's my debut. ;o)
The staps used here are from Magnolia and Angel Eyes.
Connie, the VERY tallented girl who gave the class today, suggested we should emboss the motives, before coloring them, so the ink wouldn't "bleed out" too much. I decided not to that. Simply because that is the only thing I've been doing with my stamps over the last years. However, I will probably do that on my next coloring-project, to make the lines more clear, and to provent bleeding.
I had so much fun today, and I am really looking forwards to Connies next classes in making backgrounds and art journaling. :o)

ATC of the day
It's always fun to "play around" with tiny pieces of scrap-paper, and here is something I came up with this afternoon.
I am totally hooked on using bookpages as backgrounds on everything I make these days, so that is what I used here as well, a little distressed with Distress Ink. I had a little piece of "bling-paper" I cut up in pieces so the background could break through. I cut out the flower from the junkmail from a florist. The fairies are from a scrapbooking sheet. Then I glued on the beads and the bow. I am quite happy with the result, and I hope whoever ends up with it will be happy with it as well. :o)
